I’ve been an Acetone fan from the beginning when they sounded more like the Velvets than they did like themselves. But like most good bands they have aged nicely crafting a record of intensely comfortable driving songs. Best played through a haze of cigarette smokiness, the band’s smooth vocals and instrumental stylings have elevated Acetone to a level of near perfection.
